I learned about love from an early age. One minute I would be watching my brother yelling and screaming, acting like a monster controlled by the demon of drug addiction. The next, when I’m telling him in tears how much he scared me, he promises me I’m the most important person in his life and he’d never ever hurt me. We’d seal this promise with a pinky swear.
He passed away in Nov 2009. I still feel my love with my brother to this day.
Love is real. I believe in love.
